OP didn't ask about stick. I wouldn't drive even AWD in weather as yesterday, winter tires might help but anyway ...

i understand that, i was just simply stating that only the S is comes in stick as of now. For some people they would sacrifice the awd's advantage in snow for the rwd stick, regardless of their weather conditions.

Yeah i figured the car would be good with some blizzaks. I wouldnt really drive it that much in the snow but just incase. I really dont want the car in awd. My 335i sucks in the snow. And it doesnt help that its slammed on the ground. My g37s that im getting has these anniversary wheels on it. Couldnt find a picture anywhere of them on the car. Do they look good? Im still a little shocked that im buying a japeneese car. Told myself id never do it. But the deal i got for the car i couldnt resist. Its the only car that is similar to my bmw.

The G37s without snow tires is very dangerous in any place that gets real snow IMO. I really wish the G37x was available when I got my G37

DO NOT BUY THE RWD S if you have snow-icy weather frequently. I live in MD which has hit or miss winters... Last winter it didn't snow at all, this winter is my first one with the G where it has snowed more than 5 times now. I just put all season tires that had 9.5/10 star rating on the car and it is completely worthless in the snow. 1 inch of snow on the road and your back end will come out every time even if you are only crawling at 5mph. It's actually making consider trading it for something else. I would get the G in AWD but they don't make it in a 6MT which is all I drive....doing donuts in this car is a breeze tho lol

This exactly.

I have an 08 g37s coupe 6mt with Blizzack lm60 (225 on all four corners).

My driveway is extremely steep along with my court that I live in and I haven't even slid once. Winter tires are 100% more important than AWD.

BTW, it isn't even a competition when trying to look at how a good set of snow tires performs compared to all season tires. IF YOU HAVE SNOW GET A DEDICATED PAIR OF SNOW TIRES!!!!!

I have the AWD and I drove in sport tires this winter. it has absolutely no trouble getting off the ground, but turning in the street is a hassle and is difficult to do without going like 2 mph. I say get snow tires for sure. its an expensive car so dont be cheap with the tires.
