Thanks. I've enjoyed it for many years - it's just grown into more than an easy daily driver.

I'm not looking for the G to blow me away, just to be enjoyable, fun, sporty, good looking, reliable and easy to drive.

Thanks!

Thanks for the link - but there are a few things that don't add up to me on this IPL:
18hp more
same brakes
different "look" that I don't like as much as the standard version

Lastly, I'm looking for something used and don't want to pay the premium of a new car and certainly not one with the premium that will come on this one.

Thanks tho.

I came from a Viper and let me just say you will miss the power. I would say get the GTR or the M3. The lack of a true manual bugs me when considering the GTR so I'd possibly lean towards the M3.

Just saw you had a budget of 40k. I know people hate this car around here but the new mustang are pretty damn fast and good as a daily driver. Check em out.

Have you been inside a new mustang? Much better interior than previous mustangs but it still ugly! But they're fast and respond very well to mods! I have never seen a brand new car being able to do 10's so easily.

he said hes not really looking to mod though, so a car that responjds to mods isnt too important to him. Although a stock 5.0 Stang would still e lots of fun!!

Having a fast car that responds very well to mods and not modding it is like having Beyonce next to you in bed every night and only do her missionary style.

Depending on the liquidity you have and the amount you are willing to spend on this next car, I would take a look at a 550i or 550xi with a dinan ecu flash. Classy car and you won't have to give up as much torque. 4 doors and auto tranny help too. Once you dinan the car its about 500 hp and close to 600 tq.

OP, if your commute to work involves long drives and pretty bad traffic, you could also consider better fuel economy cars such as hybrids. I have a buddy that commutes downtown to work everyday in bad traffic and his wallet suffers from the gas prices now days. G is a blast to drive and the seats are comfortable, but not very economical if fuel economy is one of your determinants.

I love my G but I wouldn't let it sit in traffic everyday. Some members here do it because it's their daily drivers, but I personally can't afford the fuel cost lol.

Hope this helps, my $0.02

I'd say for the the G37S coupe 7AT. It's sporty and comfortable enough for a daily commute and the exhaust note is incredible.

Honestly, if you're looking for a daily, then just get a cheap beater and park it outside. Depends on what you want from your daily though. How far is your commute? What's the minimum MPG you want out of the commuter?

Personally, I'd buy an old Civic or maybe even a G35 and keep the Porsche for the weekends. Sick car BTW!
