My '08 37S had 3K miles on it when I bought it in March 2010 and due to the nasty winter in the NE, It has sat in the garage for several days at a time lately. The battery was getting weak in the last month when I started it but is now dead. I have started it using a portable charger. A friend has the same year G and has no starting issues. Of course that's his daily driver and mine is a fair weather vehicle only. Should I be concerned that some other issue caused the battery to die? I made an appointment at the dealer for this. Thanks in advance

I just had the same issue.. I bought my G with 18k miles on it but the weather here is freezing. I noticed the battery getting weaker over time, then it died. Then I jumped it and thought it would be ok. Nope.. When I took the battery out, which took some TIME and effort, I noticed it was some cheap no-name battery. My best advice is to get a nice battery.. Mine is a DuraLast Gold. It cranks quicker and sweeter than EVER before. You should be fine.
