Problem with exhaust

Man go to wal mart and buy one of those Stanley 120 piece starter kits. I have one and I can do just about every routine maintenance thing with that kit. It goes for maybe 60 bucks. That was a 5 minute fix, including the time it takes to down a beer.

Get beer from fridge = 30 seconds.
Jack up car and put it on jackstands = 2:30
down half the beer = 10 seconds.
Look in toolbox for a box end wrench and ratchet (given you already know the size you need) = 20 seconds.
Swing gasket into place, install bolt with nut and tighten = 30 seconds.
Take another swig of the beer = 5 seconds.
Lower car = 25 seconds.
Enjoy the rest of the beer = 30 seconds.

do you think spending $60 on the kit just to fix that issue would make much sense,
thanks for the input though,
I will look into it
just don't really have a need for it at this time

Lol yeah butte point is that you can buy that kit and fix whatever little things. It's a good idea to have at least a basic set of tools. Today was the exhaust, tomorrow might be something else.

That's just an exhaust leak no biggie! You can drive it down there like that. Take it back and have them fix it! This time ask them to use some loctite. Oh but be careful not to drive over anything that will rip your gasket off.
Don't get a tow truck that just a waste of your money! Better of doing it yourself and buying the tool kit.
