Manual or Automatic....?

I have had two infiniti's.. a 2006 sedan g35s 6MT and a 2008 g37s 6MT.. While I had a flawless 2006 6MT experience, my 2008 g37s needed a new clutch/flywheel after 15K miles or so...which in my 20+ years of driving only manual transmissions, I have never needed a clutch replaced. I have driven the AT's when I get a loaner. They are fast, but not as much fun. Even with the clutch issues, I am picking up a new '11 g37s 6MT next week.
My 2 cents.. get the 6MT...Control the car, not the computer.
The vibrating stick is fine, actually I like it...and it shifts fine, the engagement takes 1 day to get used to, if that. I dont know why 'tight shifting' would be a complaint?? As opposed to loose shifting? Anyway, you'll enjoy the 6MT more so than an Auto.

Why do we have to have this same old thread topic over and over again? Now I can see a new guy not knowing how many times it’s been covered before, but you older members should know better. Here’s just a sample of similar threads that have been posted here:
https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-cou...automatic.html
https://www.myg37.com/forums/buying-...-or-stick.html
https://www.myg37.com/forums/polls/1...-for-a-at.html
https://www.myg37.com/forums/polls/1...k-or-auto.html
For the hundredth time: It’s a personal choice based on many factors, including anticipated heavy work traffic, spouses who cannot drive a MT, clutches that wear out, resale value, or just liking to shift gears. One is not better than the other. It’s as useless as debating which car color is better than another.

Thanks for the replies, didn't mean to get you guys in trouble.
Edit- After reading this most recent post I went to another forum I'm a member of and thought the same thing when I saw a very common thread. I suppose it happens every forum.
