Speed Sensing Door Lock for 2008 G37?

I can not find any documentation on this forum or on the web if there is a way to turn on a feature to lock all doors when the vehicle reaches a certain speed. I will be unpleasantly surprised if this is not an available feature since I had it on a crappy Chrysler before I bought the G.
Thanks in advance.

The only way to have the feature on a 2008 is an aftermarket module from KP Technologies.

Thanks! I will look for that module. The other thing I noticed is that when I manually lock the door from the inside, it doesn't let me just pull the lever to open the door to get out like other cars you manually lock.. I have to manually unlock the door then pull the handle to open the door. Not sure why an upscale car would be lacking such a safety feature as auto speed sensing locks and auto unlock when trying to open the door from the inside....still love the car though!

Nope, the Nissan 370GT and Infiniti G37 have a whole different spec, features, and options. So you might not have it on your car.

Actually, I think it might be a new regulation for not allowing you to open the door from the inside while locked. With my old G35 coupe you can open the door while locked. They just changed that for the G37.

I had a g35 coupe and it didn't unlock the doors when I pulled the handle. It was an 07 (last MY for that gen) so it might have been removed. i did notice some components in the door handle that looked like they would turn the lock switch to the unlocked position once the handle was pulled, though, so it looks like they really did remove that feature.

Anyway, your theory is probably not correct since virtually all German cars have this feature.

i think its only available in the auto not the 6spd. i might be wrong though. I noticed that in the auto you can have the seats and steering wheel move back and up when the car is in parked and possibly the doors lock and unlock when driving and parked.

I think it's so lame that the 08 doesn't have that feature. My crap *** '94 mercury cougar had that feature (plus auto unlock when you put it in park) and so does my gf's '03 civic! Both this and the MS6 which are considered "entry level luxury" cars don't have this feature. WTF!
