With the IPL you are basically paying 4k for the body kit and get the different wheels, true dual exhaust, special paint, 18HP (whatever that is worth if it only makes it on 7kpm+) and other IPL things for about 1k.

Configure a 2011 G with nav/sport/premium = 45k then add the aerodynamic package =approx 4k and you get a 49k normal 2011 G. The IPL is 50k and has all those things and more for just 1k extra. The thing is the bodykit really which is 4k and is kind of ridiculous!

suspension is upgraded too.

but even with a proper tune people can get better gas mileage.... highway mileage is still highway mileage-- the engine is not straining just coasting.

i got better gas mileage with my test pipes installed

We seriously considered the IPL, even though my wife hated the red leather. I told her that I would find her special sunglasses that blocked red.

The kicker was that the dealer was willing to go from about $45.5k down to 42k on the coupe and was asking full msrp for the IPL they had on the lot (~51k). From the looks of it, they got it. It is no longer on their website when I went to double check the list price.

I couldn't justify a 9k cost differential just because I like the rims better and a CAI would make up the differential in the two cars on the power side... At that price differential, I could almost go for the GTM TT and most of the associated mods.
