If its buried under the snow, how would you clean it off without digging it out?

Most of the cars here were buried after Sunday's blizzard. I almost could not see the roof of my car!! By the time the blizzard was over, the snow were not soft anymore.

Be careful when you remove the snow. Last year I pushed off about 8 inches off my ob coupe and the underlying layer of ice left a deep scratch on my trunk. Had to wet sand it.
