Why the f dont all exhaust fit on the AWD coupe

I just dont understand how the underside of the car can be SO different, that not all the exhausts fit. Can anyone give me a technical lesson, i wanna buy a greddy Ti-C, it sounds good and its a great price. I just dont want to have to pay 1500 for a FI or Stillen exhaust, 1500 is a bit ridiculous.

the easiest way to explain this to ya would be through a series of pictures.
We have a a power distributor right in the middle of our cars that the exhaust has to go around. If you get an other exhaust other than FI you will need to get it modified.

This is the X (AWD)

This is a normal (RWD)

^^^ Post of the Year. Thanks for the simple explanation and the photos to show X owners how their car is different from a regular RWD vehicle.

My question Steveo47 is, how the f did you buy and AWD vehicle and not know that the underside of it is fundamentally different than the RWD variant when it comes to modding?

you could probably get all your answers by getting a number to each company of the exhausts your interested in, calling and telling them you have an X sedan and wanted to know if they sold an exhaust that fits.
