I've always been a fan of mercedes amg cars they perform and look great right off the lot but at a huge price tag. I can't afford one which is why I don't have one but my neighbor drives a sl63 and wow what a car/engine. I think it'd be great to have their motors although a drawback would be maintenance as others have said. Ideally I would prefer Nissan to put their own motors in their cars though. Look at the gtr awesome motor awesome car and it's all Nissan

^ exactly.. if AMG ever did such a thing, I do not think Nissan/Infiniti customers would be able to handle the sticker shock. I think it would be much more realistic if IPL made something useful, there really is no excuse, when SRT started then began with a turbocharged 13 second Dodge Neon. Infiniti CAN do more.
And my question would then be, if all of you here would buy the AMG Infiniti, why did you buy a G37 in the first place? you could have afforded something much nicer. And if you could and just loved the car, why are the the majority of people here driving N/A cars, if you have the monies for this you easily have the monies for a turbocharger, you should have bought one 2 years ago right?
Does anyone honestly know why the 350/370z did not get a twin turbo like the 300? that would be a great start for IPL and keep the price 'realistic' for Infiniti customers.

I think alot of buyer's hear turbo & few things come to mind.
1st is what's it gonna cost if it goes?
2nd is Infiniti has never used turbo's in any of their models.
I remember the 1990 tt 300zx 300hp stock 20 years ago.
My dad once bought a buick regal in 1987, I tried to talk him into the Grand National.
He almost bought it until he found out about the turbo.
Thing is I bust his chops for that one, for that year, only 7,896 were made between 86/87. He could have drove it for 10 years then sold it for almost what he paid for it new.
