I want to buy a slightly used G37

Driving lessons for manual? Honestly, its not that hard to do. I'm 100% positive you can learn in one weekend with someone you know that can teach you. Its like riding a bike, once you get the handle on it you never forget.
But I do applaud you for wanting to learn and buying a 6MT. After getting my first auto in 10 years, I miss the manual everyday. Good luck to you.

i would not learn to drive a 6mt on a g37....they have terrible clutches known for prematurely wearing out....you might be one of the luckies who could end up blowing a clutch under 5k miles...and your door prize would be a new clutch for $1500-$2400...WOOHOOO!

My younger brother, who was 17 at the time, taught me how to drive a stick in about 10 minutes. Then it's just a matter of practice and learning the clutch. I think it was a week of jack-rabbit practice before I was comfortable.

The new V8 Mustang? Fuggedaboutit....it'll kill us badly.

For kicks I ask for different cars when I travel on business. When I requested one of the new mustangs, I thought it would be a thrill. However, it was like driving a tank. I felt there was no finesse to the car. Plus the interior looks super cheap (along with some wacky accent lights). I felt the visibility was worse than the 370z, and that's saying a lot.

And yes, a 400plus HP V8 will beat the G, that's is pretty obvious isn't it?

Why don't you just buy a Mustang then, you are obviously a fan. Read what I wrote in my first post. It's close to the G but still not there yet. 3.7L, 300hp, 0-60 in just under 6 seconds. Last I looked the G was 330HP and 0-60 in 5.3 .... that would make the G a bit better with a 3 year old engine. Now the 31mph is not bad at all but I'm sure that is the extreme, I've gotten 27 out of the G on trips.

You also seem to be missing the fact that the V6 Mustang is Ford's base engine for that car. It's meant to be the more economical choice, not to make the Mustang fast. But the fact of the matter is that the new V6 Mustang is every bit as fast and may even be faster than a G37, at least according to several road tests that I've read. I hate to be a magazine racer, but your numbers are so far off that it's comical. Stop being such a hater.
From the very first road test I Googled:
"Not that the Blue Oval's new six-cylinder musclecar needs more power. Yep, you read right: We called the new 3.7 Mustang a musclecar. Now if you're reeling from the idea of a Mustang V-6 ever being labeled with that word, or if you can't believe how far that meatball just flew from your mouth, chew on this: 0 to 60 in 5.1 seconds and the quarter mile in 13.7 at 102.0 mph.

My budget is $32,000. I was thinking about the accord coupe V6 which is new fully loaded for $30,000. I was also considered the new mustang GT which is also new $30,000 not loaded. I'm leaning towards the g37. Would i be able to get lets say a 2009 G37 with like 7000 miles on it for $32,000? Is there anything i should look out for? thx in advance
my parents who are in their 60s are selling the g when they move to vegas in the next week to 10 days. Pm if you want details.
