When taking your car in, make them SWEAR NOT TO WASH IT

Leatherique is a great product, but the oil is not very necessary for frequent use. Pristine clean is a decent product for regular maintenance but I am not sure whether all of this stuff is necessary for relatively new leather.
It worked great on my old bimmer because that leather was, at that point, 13 years old.
I am currently using zaino leather in a bottle and like it quite a bit.

every time I go to the dealership and ask them not to wash it, they put a sign on the window themselves that says do not wash... you should talk to the service manager, they will pay for a detail.

lol, sad to say, i just gave up and let them start washing it. my paint is already too beat up anyway. once i get a detail, then i'll go back to telling them to leave my car alone.
but i do remember the dealer putting my first scratch on my car...pretty visible near the moonroof...they said they'd buff it out, but it was still clearly visible afterward. ehhhh, it's hit or miss getting washes there.

OP, this is a flagrant foul, chances are they noted "No wash" in your service order, which you got a printout of. Show them that, complain that your car was damaged as a result of them performing something you did not authorize and explicitly refused. You should be able to get them to either pay for a complete detail or some kind of compensation.

just curious because I've also had nothing but good experiences with Jackie Cooper in Tulsa where I take mine.

Not on the service order, despite bring it up twice.
I guess next time I'll have to ask to see the service order before I hand over the keys. And put a note on the steering wheel. And maybe the shifter. and the windows.

Silver cars get swirls just as easy as black cars or any other color car, for that matter... It's just that swirls are easier to see on black cars.
I've noticed a few people claiming that their cars have no swirls. I'd bet they actually do have some swirls, but they just don't see them. Unless a car has just been through an extensive paint correction, chances are good that there will be swirls in the paint.
