The only time I think those Momo shifters(or any aftermarket for that matter) look good is if you have aftermarket steering wheel...and possibly seats. Otherwise they all just look like they are trying to hard. Then again... I think aftermarket shifter/steering wheel/seats are all way too over the top. Maybe I'm just saying I'm not a fan of them in general...

My friend was able to take it off by just using his hands. It's definitely tough. They must use some kind thread glue or something.

My mechanic got it off without ruining my OEM shifter. I thought he was going to, so I ordered another one just in case. There's a good amount of loctite on the threading and it's overly torqued. If needed, I can ask him specifically tomorrow what he did.

yeah...i mean it wasn't totally destroyed, i actually put it back on and it's fine. The leather is just a little messed up but yeah...very poor decision with money on that one. I ended up returning the momo shift **** so $40.00 wasn't too bad, cause now if i ever do decide to switch shift *****, i will just be able to twist it off without any glue or anything else. but yeah,

Well, they shouldn't have charged you considering that they messed up the ****....unless they warned you first that it would definitely get messed up.

There is blue thread locker on the shift ****. That should require about 60 lbs of torque to remove. 9/10 times you will have to destroy it to remove it, unless you can somehow heat the threads/**** before you twist
