I follow both time and mileage since I have read enough independent studies with adequate results/examples to satisfy my choice beyond the wallet factor. Without getting into too much detail, try Google.

I disagree with many of these posts. I do by months OR miles, whatever comes first. Better to be safe then sorry.

Even when my car is stored I have the oil changed every 3 months.

You guys know that changing your oil too often can be harmful to your engine? I go by miles but for warranty keeping sake it's best to simply stick to manufacturer's schedule.
