It was a pretty fair review for Autoblog, as usual.
If I would have waited until now to make my purchase, I'm not sure I would have paid the extra $3k for one. The only thing I can't get past is the front snow plow bumper and the SUV-esqe running board side skirts. But considering a catback, tune, and intake cost about $3k+, it's hard not to take the bait.

Still don't like or see the need for this car. The body kit and wheels are terrible and as countless others have said make it a 55-56k car and make it a v8 with mid 400s in hp and a lot nicer/classy exterior, not this fast and furious looking thing. As the article says IPL=Infiniti performance little FTL!!

Stillen G3 Intake - $550
Tune + Dyno time - $300-$500
$2650 using the $500 figure above. If you don't install the exhaust yourself, add another $100. If you can't install the intake yourself, add a little more cash.

I'm surprised about how much hatred there is for the G37 on autoblog, then again the readers on that site are some serious Ford and Hyundai loving and anything Japanese hating (especially Toyota) sob's.
I like Ford and Hyundai too, and have been getting disappointed with Toyota over the past few years, but the bias on that site is just disgusting.

At any rate, the G37S IPL is...idk. It's a mixed bag. I don't hate the name tho' like a lot of people here. I think it sounds better than "EFF SPORT" or "EM"
The only reason "EM" sounds good is because it's been around awhile.

Mod Friendly Infiniti Dealer = ALL (and I do mean all, even approved F/I) mods installed there keep the warranty...
And I think you mean: "IPL"
Want M3 power but like the G37 style, buy a 37S, put $10K into it at the dealer to S/C it with support and have a SERIOUS car and still save money and keep your warranty...
IPL line is still a good idea in my opinion as an upsell for Infiniti for people who just want a little more out of their car and do not have the green light at a starting line sitting next to an M3 haunting their dreams...
Just my $.02
