Crooked Exahust?

Just noticed this months after having the car:

Is this normal? Or do I just need to get under the car and adjust something?

My stock and FI exhaust are both perfectly lined up , so you guys have some exhaust hanger issues

I've noticed many dual exhaust cars have this issue. Mine had this stock and with the Gemini exhaust. My brother's G37 also has this issue. I'll try getting under the car to see if I can somehow adjust it... Last resort would be taking it to a shop and having them bend the lower side upwards a little.

I just got my Muffler replaced due to the rattle TSB...
They put it on and it was not in line... Just like yours the drivers side
is a bit lower than the right! So, Dealer said, that was our last in stock but
I'll order one and we'll do it again... Cool right?? Get the next one and same thing!

So, somebody needs to call the factory, because the muffler machine is off about an inch

Its not the hanger... Its the welds dude... For the issue to be identical on
two different mufflers, its clearly a machine issue a the factory.

When i had OEM exhaust, it was straight...and now that i have ARK it is perfectly straight. I would get that checked man, it isn't right at all.

No. And I check the exhaust today, there isn't any damage.

No, the hanger on the side of the muffler that's lower could be cut too long. Shortening a hanger raises the exhaust, think about it...so if they're making the hangers too long on one side, all the mufflers would be hanging lower on that side.

I had this exact issue on my car. It wasn't a hanger or anything that could be adjusted; the muffler was made slightly crooked.
The service manager and I looked over every coupe on the lot and only a few had this issue - We checked underneath the cars and none could be adjusted, the muffler is 1-piece.

Dealership ended up replacing the muffler assembly. This is definitely a factory/manufacturing issue by Nissan.
FWIW I have seen some G35 coupes, 350 and 370Z with the same issue.
