More than what I expected....

Well I just got back from the Riverside Infiniti car show. It was good; lots of cars, products, and nice wheels. Luckily, I didnt come back empty handed. I got my self an OEM spoiler for ~$435 w/ taxes installed, and a set of Ichiba 10mm spacers. Now the problem is... I guess i was to damn exited when I got my spacers that I didnt know what I was getting my self into. I got home and immediately attempted to put them on. The problem is, the original wheel bolts are too damn short SO I have to put on the ones provided with the spacers which I guess are longer. I wish I could do it my self, but it seems like I might need one too many tools. Anybody know if this came be done w/ out me having to take it to the shop? If not, around how much would be it for just my rears?

You can do it by yourself if you have a torque wrench. Just tighten the bolts on the spacers to 80 ft lbs and then same for your wheels just remember to use the star pattern while tightening bolts on both the spacer and rims

If you have the spacers that come with new studs then you absolutely replace the shorter oem studs with the new longer ones. Otherwise you will not be able to get enough threads onto the lugs to secure the wheel to the hub. The front caliper must be removed in order to access the slot where you can then knock the oem studs out with a hammer. Replace with new studs and knock them in as much you can. If you've never fooled with brakes and dont have breaker bars and are weary of banging on stuff on your $40k car, then you may want to get somebody who has done it help you, or get Riverside to do it for you haha. Im sure Riverside would do it for you for a good price since you bought from them.

Also, if these are for the rear, the rear rotor must come off. Depending on mileage they may be pretty stuck on there. Mine took a good 30 mins of saoking with pd blaster and a couple good wacks with a block of wood and a mallet to get the rotor off....and i only had 25k miles and live in the south where rust isnt an issue.

Dang Anthony looks like you might have to drive back out to Riverside....

.... Didn't you say you were going back out there to have them put on the spoiler anyway?

Thanks for the info guys, I am not even going to attempt to add them my self..

Kverd88: I am at my GF's house right now & staying over. First thing I am going to do is take it to the dealer and get my spoiler installed But man, I am still not convinced with the 10mm spacers. haha

You should've bought the one with studs already built into the spacer
