Bolt ons
I have a 08 G37S Coupe. I am thinking about buying a Stillen Gen 3 Intake, Berks HFC's, Borla Cat Back Exhaust and Borla Headers. Any suggestions or comments? How does the Borla exhaust sound on the G37?

gen 3 intakes are great, debatably the best intakes for our car. exhaust is really up to the customer, each to his own. take a look around youtube for sound clips, there are a bunch. most gains come from f/i though

personally I don't think headers are really worth it. They don't provide nearly enough gains to make the $/work worth it.
But everything else looks pretty good...I've got the Gen3, Berk HFC, and ARK exhaust and love it. The exhaust just search for and listen to some clips. Each exhaust sounds a little different and they are totally subjective as to who likes what

I would love to get the Stillen Supercharger, but for now bolt ons are the way to go. I just heard the borla with the Berk HFCs and it sounds amazing. Only other question is would you recommend getting a plenum spacer installed with the Intake, HFC and exhaust?

the plenum is ONLY for looks. so if you want to get it polished or whatnot...go for it. but every single person I've talked to with one has either had 0 gain and some have even noticed losses (the people with losses were all F/I however).
but they DO look pretty good when done well

thanks for the suggestions. All I have to do now is wait for the body shop to finish repairing my car. I got in a wreck on 13 August, go figure Friday the 13th. Got Sandwiched and it caused just over $15,000 in damage. Luckily someone elses insurance is paying for it and my Kia Soul rental . A bit of a downgrade from my G. 2.0 liter engine with the acceleration of a Huffy bicycle. Should get it back on the 22 of this month, cant wait!

Headers are in no way worth the money on these cars. They will cause gains, but are extremely hard to install and will also make your G sound like a race car. Also if you ever get turbos they will have to come off.
General consensus is the Gen 3 intake is the best, as its location eliminates the chance of getting water in your filters.
The factory plenum is probably already optimized, so you are unlikely to see gains from replacing it.
Some quality exhausts to look into are Ark, Fast Intentions, and MXP. Also HKS if you like the dual canister look and are into paying a premium for the name. Not many people on here have Borla, for what its worth.

Intakes are predominantly for sound.. I have the fujita and i would definitely say its the best as far as bang for ur buck and quality. as far as exhaust. check youtube, they all sound like rice cans. u dont want your g37 sounding like a civic.. id stay stock exhaust.
