NOISE from g37s

I test drove an '08 g37s today and noticed that there was a somewhat loud 'oooommmm' sound coming from the car. The sound would go away once the car stopped but upon acceleration, cruise, and deceleration the sound would be constant.

The salesman said it was the sports tuned suspension/engine but I don't believe that. I know many people have talked about a loud noise coming from the tires after they wear out. The stock tires were almost completely worn out on the car I test drove so is the sound really that loud once the tires are worn? If so, is it just from the stock tires or do all worn out tires make a loud noise. Anyone else experience the constant 'oooomm' after the tires wear out?

Also, I noticed the g37s does not accelerate that fast. Do you guys feel that way as well?

Thanks.

Yeah that's kind of a subjective thing lol a "loud" noise can be described as a whole lot of things...if you're coming from a non sporty car, I would say its just the car itself.

As far as the tires go, the OEM bridgestones DO make a lot of noise when they go out. Other tires react differently, some are loud some aren't.

if the tires are almost bald, then yes the car will be very loud when slowing down. most of the time from around 30-10mph you will hear a loud humming sound. sounds like its the tires that are the issue.

Its a constant 'ooooommmm' sound and I thought it might be from the extremely worn tires but I've never heard how the worn out tires on the g37's sound like. Maybe you guys can describe the sound lol. The sound was in addition to the deep growl that the g makes.

How do you guys feel about the acceleration of the g37 coupe? Does it feel like the g37 is heavy when you accelerate? It didn't seem to pick up as fast as I expected.

hahah I did but the sound was constant throughout acceleration and deceleration, didn't get louder or quieter except when I came to a complete stop where it went away.
