Hey everyone.

I put my G37s on the market on Wednesday (I need to sell it b/c I am moving to NY for a job) ((yay for the job, boo for selling my baby)).

On Thursday I was in an accident.... yeah. Three great years and I wreck it a few days before I was moving.

It wasn't my fault at all and it ended up getting totaled. So the question is: How much should I settle for? Details below.

Thanks for all your input.

-Todd

2008 G37s
42000 miles
Great condition
Black on black
All options minus the four wheel steering.
Tech, premium, navi, leather, rear camera, etc.

PS - I will try to upload some pics tomorrow if I am able to cut them down.

I'd push for 29-30k, wouldn't settle for less than 28k.

Thanks.

Edmunds says it would cost $34k from the dealer and they are supposed to use a dealer comp price.

I am hoping for $30k. I will let you guys know when I hear back.

Do your own research. Pull up what other similiar cars are selling for in your area and then establish an average. Thats what insurance companies do, very similiar to what the real estate market does also, "fair market value".

whatever it's worth, it's going to be worth less than what the dealer would sell it for now that its been totaled.

you can expect to receive the trade in value, or it's residual, whatever that may be.

curious to see what you get. maybe sue the bastard that hit u for another $10-20 grand.
