My dog found out the first day it would just be best to sit and stay than to walk around and cause trouble .

on a side note that looks terrible. You should be able to get it fixed. or choose to get aftermarket rims.

ouch. I think a good wheel repair shop can fix that for like $150-200.

I bought M45 rims that have damage along the lip like that and they hold air ok so I havent bothered to get them repaired.

Edit:

Figure $150 to fix the wheel and $200 for a new tire....you might be able to find someone selling one or a pair of used rims instead.

There's a shop here locally in Houston who can make that as if it never happened. It costs $100- $125 here. You likely have somewhere locally in Philly that can do it as well.

Since you're in the Philly area, take it to MAGICURE AUTO on route 1 in Langhorne, PA. The same thing happened to me about a year ago (not quite as bad as yours) and they fixed it in about an hour while I waited--good as new, I think it was about 90 bucks.

Stealerships will do it for $150-175 per rim. When I first got my car, I let my girl (ex now) drive my car back from the city as I was way too lit and she curbed three rims. Got two fixed, then I curbed them, got quoted the same and doing it in my next service trip..

Can anyone recommend a shop in the northern NJ area that does good work? I don't need it at the moment, but it would be nice to know just in case!

There's noway to perfectly match that color, you can't get that exact color in the US or even shipped from Japan (Enkei is JDM). Unless you're going to powder coat all 4 of your wheels the same color, it won't be perfect. I learned the hard way and had to buy a new rim.

There's a place in Bath Pa called Wheel Collision Center that I used about a year and a half ago on my 05 Infiniti G35 Cpe. wheel that got really badly curbed. I live in central NJ but drove to the place to see for myself what the place looks like. I was impressed with some of the wheels they had repaired and were to be shipped out or picked up. I paid about 225. for the repair and I reolize that's not cheap but the level of quality of the work was A1. I don't know how far Bath is from Philly, but they are worth taking a look at. Here's their web Wheel Collision Center Bath PA- Excellence in Refinished/Used Factory OEM Aluminum Alloy Wheel Rim Sales & Alloy Wheel Rim Straightening Repair Refinishing & Recycling! - Excellence in Refinished/Used Factory OEM Aluminum Alloy Wheel Rim Sales & Allo. Good luck with whatever you decided to do, I know how it feels to see that kind of damage on your baby.

So why can't you get it from enkei japan? Isn't it not a normal type of automotive paint anyway - some kind of poly / rubber paint.
