How'd the car do? Any issues with the TT? So tempted to just drop the hammer and go TT...

Yup, I was going to make a thread about it but med school got me swamped. The car was an absolute dream throughout the trip. During the 3000 miles, I drove in the mountains, dirt roads, extreme heat, high elevation and did not have a single problem. Driving through arizona, ambient temperatures went up to 115 degrees. The car oil temp rose up to about 240 but everything else was normal. One thing I did notice was in high elevations, it is much easier to hit boost. But the AFR, EGTs were still spot on.

The thing that surprised me the most of the MPG. My average speed for the trip was 80 mph. At that speed, even through constant mountain driving and high speed passes, I was able to average 25 mpg. MPG was measure by dividing the miles driven by the amount of gas between fills, as the MPG gauge is no longer accurate due to larger injectors.

Here's a funny story. After arriving at new york, I took my car to a shop to get the oil changed. When I came back, there were 7 mechanics around my car checking out the turbos.

I think this is a sign that you must get TT. Just think, you can take it to Big Bear for snowboarding in the winter, or even camping trips in the summer. OH SNAP!

I would definitely be in on the bet.

I can hold the money since I'm a vendor, and I'm suppose to be fair
