How long would you keep your g37?

Just want to get a feel of when current owners would consider trading or selling their g37?
Would you go for another vehicle or a newer g?

I'm planning on driving my G until the entire thing falls apart. I legitimately will never get rid of it until I don't have a choice. And if/when I get married and have a family I'll get another car to drive the rugrats around in.

When it DOES come time to send the G to the graveyard, I'll most likely get whatever the new version of the G is...but that's a ways off so I'll have to see what's out at the time

lol...no **** hispeed.

I'm sure these things will last atleast 15 years or 200k miles, whichever comes first.

But these days ppl want newer cars every other year.

haha the way I take care of my car, I really think it will last a crazy long time. The only thing that is going to cut the life short is when I go F/I. But even then, I am meticulous about taking care of the car.

And with as much as I've done to the car, I don't want to get rid of it just to have a "new" car. I love my G and will have it till the wheels fall off

I still have my 7 years old G35 sedan. Planning to keep the G37 for a long time too.

I'm in the same boat as speed. I plan to drive my G until it starts to fall apart or reach a "high mileage" point.

I'll admit, I am enticed by some of the newer cars out there though. My coworker just bought a C6 this past weekend and although I fell in love the exterior styling of his vette, just closing the cheap plastic of the glove compartment was enough to deter me. Maybe I expected too much?

At least to the 200K mileage point. I still have my '92 and '96 Nissans both with over 200K and running strong.

Perpetual car notes are for suckers!

Lease is up in 2013 which will mark 5 straight years of G ownership (had my 08 from 08-10). By then it will be time for a BMW methinks....

bleh...I will never be in a Bimmer. Even as powerful as the M3/M5 is, I don't think I could ever own one. They just look so...blaaah to me

The G is my second car, but it was my first "sports" car. So i want to keep it forever. When I get a job and buy my own car, I still want the G around and turn it into a project car, hopefull TT to 500 hp etc etc.

Bimmers interior needs updating, they seem more in line with my dad's taste.

test drove a 335i and didn't connect with the interior of the car, exterior is not bad for a coupe however. I didn't feel it as fast as ppl claim it to be, g37 was equally as quick and was more fun to drive.

I'm not crazy about car payments. Mine should be paid off in a year or so and after that...maintenance.

I will probably keep it for a long long time.
