How long would you keep your g37?

I've owned my '12 G37xS since 2015 and i have 92K miles. I was planning on replacing it back in 2020, but then used car prices went out of control.
For now I plan to keep it for another few years until I'm forced to get rid of it or a deal comes up on another car.

Probably forever
Until recently I thought there was nearly a 99% chance I’d trade my coupe in on a new Z. Unfortunately, I’m REALLY disappointed in the Z. ****ty tires, ridiculous trim levels (needs a Sport+LSD+Brakes for $46K) and no Nismo (yet). I’m also not sold on the idea of spending $50K to $65K on a new car when Im trying to retire in five years. That new car money would translate to six figures in five years the way I invest so that’s a concern. Beyond all that, I’ve grown to hate the Z’s front fascia. I still have a warranty (Carmax) on my 2008 G37S Coupe 6MT and it only has 48K miles. Instead of the Z I’m entertaining the idea of spending $12K on a supercharger + ancillaries after the warranty expires (2025). Probably Stillen? I’m still not even sold on THAT idea because there’s something so pure and organic feeling about driving a NA V6 making over 330hp. Truth be told, with its HKS cat-back and Eibach sways front and rear, it feels just about perfect to me. Sure the car is a bit heavy for what it is and the stick can’t match a Honda’s for smoothness, but it’s reliable, low 5’s 0-60, cruises effortlessly at high speeds all day (when and where it safe to do so) and it’s as reliable as any Honda or Toyota on the road. It just turned 14 years old last week (December 2007 build date) so I kinda feel like I wanna be one of those guys with a “Historic” license plate on their weekend toymobile. Just 11 more years to go…

^^I decided to limit new purchases to necessities only for the near future. With the economy heading into the crapper, better to hold on to your $$ I think. Had a nice laptop picked out (and bought) few weeks ago. Ended up returning it. Few weeks later spent 6x on a new furnace/ac. Existing one (~18 years old) hasn't failed yet, but the way my luck's been with appliances this year, it would fail in the coldest day in the middle of january.
From my most recent carmax experience last month, appears used prices are still way inflated. Periodically I check the selling dealer's site for new stingers. Very slim picking last 3 quarters.

.....and to make things more interesting, the concept of car ownership and even necessity has changed a bit the past few years.....at least for my family. My wife works from home, I work from home, most of the household necessities are delivered by Amazon, Costco, Walmart and even Home Depot. The only time we drive is to grocery shop or to eat out which is rare. We've put less than 4K miles on our cars in the past year and it doesn't appear this will change anytime soon. We walk the bike trails more than we drive and this might be a good thing. At this rate, I may not need to replace the G for another decade; although like many others, I am waiting for things to calm a bit with the car market and I will likely replace it with something newer. Its very curious since five years ago, the automobile was such a crucial item in our lives and now its just not so relevant.

I haven't driven mine since June - various reasons including some maintenance ones. But I use a company car for pretty much all required travel, so honestly I don't need the Infiniti. Not getting rid of it, but... grins are the only use case I have for it at the moment.
