I'm at 148,000 miles. So minor bruises on the car. I plan to keep and want to add a Porsche 993 or 964 to the stable.

The G is my second car, but it was my first "sports" car. So i want to keep it forever. When I get a job and buy my own car, I still want the G around and turn it into a project car, hopefull TT to 500 hp etc etc. feedback survey breakfast hours

Monday marks my 7 year anniversary with my G. Can't justify replacing it as it's treated me quite well over the years.

A few months ago marked my 10 year anniversary with the G, and just a couple of days ago it hit 50k miles.

From the very beginning, it was a 10 year plan. But that was arbitrary, and now I don't know when I'll be moving on. 3 more years, probably.

I'm almost at the point where money spent on maintenance and mods is nearly what I paid for it back in 2012.

Zero regrets.

This month is 4 years for me, somewhere over 75k miles but not to 80k yet. I usually keep cars 8-10 years before they get to be more expensive to fix than they are worth to sell.

Pull the fuse/ cut the wire and it'll never have a chance to strand you ever again.

2015 Q60 75k miles. Gonna keep it for longer. Still clean. Need to find new wheels though.

The Works I got looked better in the photos than it does in person. Trying to find some OEM sports or IPL

For me, it will be 14 years in October. I bought it off a very contracted lease from a dealer looking to unload it back in 2008. It had 11,000 miles on it and at the time had only one scratch behind the drivers door handle. Now, its upwards of 130K and has succumbed to a few "bruises" and abuse by other drivers in parking lots and so on but it's been a fairly good car. Its sport"ish" without breaking the bank or my kidneys when driving. Its comfortable on trips, but for the truly long trips, I prefer my wife's car as it's so much more comfortable and rides so much nicer. Mechanically, the car is still in great shape but some of the maintenance items are looming, and I need to order up an infusion of parts to get it back up to date. No major issues to date save for a failed AC compressor last year. Given the present economy and state of car buying right now being beyond nuts, I see the G in my garage for at least another 5-7 years. I think it reasonable to expect this car to make it to 200K and beyond without too much drama

Bought my g37 for like 30+k back in 2010 w/low miles.. here I am 12 years later 3rd engine later. I'm going to keep it as long as it treats me right. Its really the 2nd engine.. the 1st one blew gallery gaskets when i lent it to a friend and they didnt take care of the oil and general maintenance. the 3rd engine is actually in my garage waiting for forged pistons/rods etc. If i do get rid of it it will be with my jeep to pick up a very fast electric vehicle.. like a tesla plaid or the new electric charger. but we'll see. i kinda like not having a car payment.

Yeah I agree. especially since the engines are so cheap and swapping them out is so easy. I can see myself with the g for a while.

The G37 only @120k miles but for people saying you will drive it until it dies, that might be a while. I have been saying that also on my 2003 G35. I still drive it with 290k miles.

I've owned mine since ~November of 2019 and currently sitting at ~52k miles. I imagine I will be keeping the car for another year or two. It will be hard to part ways as it's grown on me a ton.
