Angry A G37 List I care not to be on

I awoke this morning to hear on the news that my G37 Coupe is third on a new list of cars most likely to be stolen. I guess we all must continue to be careful where we park:

If that's true, I'll expect insurance rates to rise.

it depends on what state you are registered in. it won't cause a rise nationally.

if someone copies your FOB signal the alarm won't go off...because it will be a recognized signal

Rolling codes...capturing and copying them doesn't work because once you have the most recent code used, it is rendered useless.

If the G37 makes a national list of the top stolen cars, then I think it is safe to say that it's not just a local issue. Certain cars may be more popular targets of thieves in some areas, but for the most part a popular car to steal is popular everywhere. And any time a car is a popular car to be stolen or a popular car for kids who like to street race (and get involved in the inevitable crashes), then it's a safe bet that the car will go into a higher risk category, which means higher insurance rates for most owners in most locations.
