Wow, that's hideous (being a native NY'r), it's as if they felt the need to take the colors from '66-'73/'73-'86 and make it fuglier.

when u get a ticket just wait to the last day to fix it and zip tie it on the mesh part of the lower bumper then when they write it off just take it back off. i know its a pain but i prefer no front plate so oh well lol

3M double sided tape! Get yourself a nice frame and 3M it on! It can be removed easily with fishing line and 3M adhesive remover/goo gone

C'mon, no plate... do as dude says and just fix it when (if) you get a ticket. Then remove it after you show proof of fixing.

No big deal... it's one of those fix-it or else tickets...

wow that sounds like a huge waste of time to go down to the courts everytime just for a stupid little license plate. Stop being a vag and just put the plate up

did exact same thing to bracket on lower mesh, screw the plate onto there, you won't notice it if you use black zips and trim it

Stillen front plate

Not the best picture but the only one I had handy. I've never run a front plate until now. It works, looks okay, no drill holes in the car and I don't have to worry about getting pulled over for it again.

I've never had a front plate... on cars and SUV's alike. No tickets.

Front plates are for vags... as you say. I bet yours looks spectacular!

-"I drive without a front plate, and it's great!"

. -"I like to do this while my husband drives without a front plate"

don't stress it, there are alot of us in si that will never rock a front plate. You would be like the rest of us, with no front plate.

btw I have had no front plate for over 2 years.
only hassled about it twice, once at the vz.
once on arthur kill road(@ 2am cop wasbored)
never got a ticket,knock wood.
I would not drill the bumper, only if you get hassled. Getting stopped for some other reason, maybe you may catch a highway patrol douchebag.
most cops on si, could care less.
9 out of 10 do not care about the plate.
most excuses work.
they are busy looking for riced out civics with coffe can exhausts.

I was only pulled over once for not having it mounted and this is how it went:

Cop: I pulled you over cause you have no front plate
Me: Yeah I haven't put it on yet cause they want you to drill holes directly in the front bumper, and its a freakin G37.
Cop: Yeah I don't really care man, I'm just out lookin for DUI's, have a goodnight
