Not getting any looks
#61
My dad is a distributor for a pharmaceutical warehouse, but he didn't buy the car. He drives a Tacoma and would be the last person in the world to buy anything even remotely close to it.You would be surprised how soft the market is for those cars right now. The guy that traded it in got less than a 100k for it. I don't know how much less, but I know what I paid for the car, and it was not that much considering. You can get an 05 with under 10k on the clock for less than 70k.

This thread is funny
If you really bought the G37 to get "looks" then talking to someone would probably be your best mod

That Z is a stunner but thats after heaps of mods and a Veilside kit (IMO they make some of the best widebody kits)... if your G is stock then it's sorta no brainer. Just do some simple mods and your G will be attracting heaps more than his. Get some rims, lower the car, get some ironmans and an exhaust.
IMO an Exhaust and rims + camber and a drop is all you need.
Check out the Meisterschaft exhaust for the G and Z on youtube if you haven't yet.

All I'm saying is that not all people are impressed with the type of modding that apparently floats your boat. The Fast and Furious crowd might be into it, but that doesn't mean everyone else feels the same way.
The OP obviously feels that he's in some sort of competition with his brother, who has spent some time and money on modding his Z. If that's the way he feels, then he'll have to simply mod his G to compete. Either that, or buy a different car and start modding away.

I don't think your brother would be getting as many compliments if it wasn't as modified as it is. If you want people talking, you'll have to make a lot of changes to the stock parts. The G's look good stock but they're not uncommon.

Haha wow there's been a lot of posts on this one, I still have to read the other 4 pages. Okay but here's a story for you guys, tell me how I can get my car on this level. We went to the mall today and took his 350z. We parked it far away from any other cars so it was alone. When we come back out there is a car just doing a 360 circle around his car and the guy in there is just going crazy. That would never happen to my car lol. He saw us and just smiled and drove away. We were at a stop light and 18 cars in a row were just staring at his car as the passed. How do I get on this level?

If he drops the car anymore he won't be able to drive it lol. I tis sooooo low, he was driving up a curb and he scraped the bottom he was pissed lol. He did touch up paint and it was fine. He can barely get his whole foot under it.

I know it won't happen over night, I just need suggestions to get things going. It took my bro 3 years to get all of that and that's juts the exterior, he's juts starting engine work now.
