The hissing noise is certainly NOT normal. I have the same issue in my 2010 G37 xS Sedan. I notice it when approaching 60 MPH and it's always in the passenger rear. I took it to the dealership and they were able to re-create it. The guys believed that it is a seal related issue. It's not a wind noise per say but it may be sun roof related. There is an issue with the infiniti roofs that if it's more than 1/2 mm off, you will hear a hissing noise. I had my sun roof adjusted and although it still makes the noise, it is certainly better. I also notice it more on colder 70 F and below days.

As a side note, we took a loaner G37x for a drive and no noise at all. The guys at the dealership are looking at their tech forums for more information but it definitely not the fuel pump. The fuel pump does make a noise but it's not audible and very normal.

holy crap I have/had the same problem!

when i first bought it I got out of it and looked underneath while it was running. I figured it was a minute exhaust leak.

but I always turn the car off before exiting it, so I forgot I even had this issue!

my car had virtually 0 miles when i noticed it, so i figured it must be some gasket that needs to break in.

also if it is an exhaust issue the sedan people wouldn't notice it because they have a different exhaust.
