never been up close to any white g's but from my friends new white jetta i can say it does show lines much better.. but when my black g is washed and waxed, nothing beats its sex appeal. just come buy and look when we take our cars to the mall and see who ends up with more chicks

My WRX was Raven Black Pearl (like sparklie mooonlight), always thought I would drive black cars (you knigh rider fantasies).
Second car was White Prius.
Third was a Grey Magnum
Now, White G (initially went in for a Silver 6MT with stone interior that might as well been white leather, horrible combo imo. I felt like an old man in it) once I saw the black interior and moonlight I was hooked.
Black shows scratches, hides dirt ok, hard to see lines
White hides scratches, get's dirty real fast, easy to see lines
Grey shows scratches, hides dirt the best, real easy to see lines
Black = Vader
White/Black = Storm Trooper
Grey = Imperial Officer
:P
I've become very fond of white, with tint and can't wait to black powdercoat my rims (polished lip) and black out the car.

I had to choose between a black G37 xS coupe and a white one and I went with the black. The whilte was sharp, but the black is more sinister looking especially at night. The other reapons was I was trading in a white car for my new G and I never get the same color in a row.

I have a OB... I think the thing to note is there isn’t any chrome on the car, no door bumper, in fact nothing that divides the lines period, so when you go in to lighter colours you just loose all perspective of the contours of the body. Black just show off a lot more curves and much better, plus it looks like insanity at night with lights reflecting off of it.
Personally black is the G coupe color, all other colors follow.

In perfect condition black is still by far my favorite color, but it's almost impossible to keep in that condition. I'm not sure if I'll ever buy another black car again because I just get frustrated trying to keep it looking its best. Next up for me is either dark grey or dark blue although I don't know how well dark blues do with dirt and scratches...? Generally not a fan of white cars, but some cars pull it off really well and the G is one of them!
