IP coupe should i go matte/flat black or glossy

Wanted to get some opinons, since I don't know of anyone with a flat black/matte black paint.

My roof/grill are gloss black.

Car is going to be repainted & was wondering how flat black/matte black would look like?

Since my rims are powdercoated matte black, was wondering if would look good to match the roof/grill or leave it alone.

Thaks for the input.

I remember seeing a picture on here of a Matte black G and it wasn't pretty. I don't think the G looks agressive enough to pull off Matte Black.

I think you may want to consider matte white also... just a thought but it looks sick. Also, matte painted cars are a pain in the *** to keep clean... Best of luck man!!

EDIT: I Just noticed that the flat white car I was thinking about is like three posts under the pic of the flat black one in the thread mentioned above...Check it out for sure

one of the officialTSZ members has a flat black G35 coupe. in person it looks well.

be different-- how many coupes have white w/ a black roof or black wheels?

I'd go for a different color scheme all together

I was only gonna do the roof hood and trunk flat.
I do like the color I saw on a vert
plum color.amazing.
that was bananas.
although now I see flat white, looks amazing.
how hard is to maintain?
I don't wanna do something to kill my ip.
maybe I'll do cf hood & trunk instead.
it may cost less that way and just clean up the roof and fix the factory color.

No, it's not the type of car that you put matte color on.
Camaro - yes. G - No

dont know why everyone thinks matte black is played out, how many cars on the road do you see with matte black. I would do certain parts matte black but not the whole car: like headlights, roof, wheels, rear valence, mirrors.

Quick Reply: IP coupe should i go matte/flat black or glossy
