If you really want to go matte then don't do black try another color I was thinking of gray. I saw a mustang in matte gray it looked so sick even though it was all stock just a very dark tint BUT a stock G wouldn't look as good I assure you so if you're really in it you need an aggressive bodykit,wheels...etc

look up the Zele G 37. Do something like that (which wouldnt be that difficult considering your repainting your car anyways) looks incredible IMO

Thats what i am shooting for, just don't know how its gonna look.

I have a black gloss roof/grill/ rims are matte black with black gloss lip.
my headlights are gloss black.
the rear valance is on th to do list.
so, again not sure if i wanna do the trunk.

I think its a go, gotta do something different.

Sick of all the same looking g's.

As far as matte black/flat black being played out.

I personally have only seen 2 cars completly in matte black/flat black.

One was a m5 sedan (looked amazing)

One was an acura tl-s type (looked like crap)

see why im debating.

One is a good look and the other, lets just say it's nasty.

The M3 pic above is wicked (seen its pics many times), but it has a very aggressive look to it (modded front and rear end as well as trunk). When doing a car in matte, the best advice I think one can take is to make sure your car is aggressive looking enough (i.e. Full body kit, widebody kit, etc...) to pull off the paint job. Without some body mods and an aggressive stance you'll just look outta place or as if your car is half finished... just my .02

Here are some sick matte paint jobs...

Also a similar thread was discussed on this forum before if you can find it, I haven't had any luck. Having your car wrapped vs. painted is another idea and is always removable.

My friend did his in vinyl, looks to glossy.

looks kind of good from far away, but when you get close.

Let's say not feeling it.

I no plans for any body kits, as it is the rims/other mods i just did set me back a ton of $$.
