Just got one!

Funny story, I did not want any of the options but the nav. The extras (illum kickplates, glass sensors, black grill, floormats) turned out to be more of a negotiation liability [or leverage point if you are an optimist ]. I was ready to place an order for a plain G37S 6MT GS w/Navi right there for one without the ordered options. Of course, they wanted to move this one off and I was able to get a great deal.
Congrats on yours. When did you order? Hope it gets delivered soon!

Like you, I didn't want many options. Just navigation and rear spoiler on a GS/Graphite 6MT coupe.

I did not add it. I'm told that the factory doesn't do those either, so it must have been the dealership. I'm still on the fence on whether I want to remove it or not. I'm usually against anything "stickery" including pinstripes.

BTW, I hate when dealers do that stupid ****. They love to add crap on to cars in their inventory, just because of the profit margin they earn. I would have told them that I wouldn't buy the car unless they removed the pinstripe first, but that's just me....I hate pinstripes on any car.

The pinstripe is painted on or is it tape?

On the nick, I was told (and agree) that the only way totally fix the nick would be to respray the whole bumper. He advised that he wouldn't recommend it due to factory paint mostly always being superior to being resprayed. Service manager seems to think they can make it look nearly-perfect though. It's about the size of a pea, so where my agreement came in is that I would rather have the factory job over a respray. Any thoughts? I would post a pic, but it's so unnoticeable, I'm not sure it would show on camera. I think I may just be ok with it if they touch up and smooth it out.
Already set up a loaner for the day, so that was nice. Ford did "loaners" for SVT vehicles, but it involved being sent to Enterprise and renting a car that they would reimburse. So, I'm already impressed with the Infiniti "experience" (not to sound like brainwashed consumer, though ).
