So I just woke up to messages from my friend that her mother's coupe was stolen.. her bf's truck was parked behind the g37, but some how they managed to get the car. She was not behind on the payments so it wasnt a repo and she has both keys. This kind of concerns me, can our cars be started without the key? Has anyone heard of our cars being stolen? I am figuring it was some type of tow company since they had the resources to push the truck out of the way..

any car CAN be stolen. if someone really wants to steal it they are going to. they could have just loaded it onto a flatbed or towed it off, who knows

I think if I went through the trouble of moving a truck to steal a car, I probably wouldn't take the time to return the truck to its oringinal position before getting the hell out of there.

OP, are you saying the truck had been pushed out of the way and left that way or you think they pushed it out of the way and put it back?

You can lift the car from the front and tow it out.

town i live in has special towing shoes they use if ur car is parallel parked between 2 cars.... they put the shoes on the 4 tires.. then push your car by hand out side ways and put it on the tow truck.

I know the car can be stolen with a tow, I was more curious if someone has heard of our cars being "hot wired" the found a lock where the car once stood and it looks like our key hole (go ahead someone say "they should have done the delete" I am surprised the alarm did not go off..
