Can't unlink fob

Trying to unlink fob from seat memory, Dealer set. 2010 g37. tried the book way, didn't work. Dealer didn't know of any other way. Dealer didn't want me to disconnect the battery. Any thoughts on the subject?

just disconnect the battery. there is absolutely no harm to be done by simply disconnecting it
