This has been a feature I saw on a co-workers 03 M3 and it's hella neat! The G should have this already.

^but don't you have to stop, hit #2, then start again? seat memory can't be changed while youre moving

I've not tried it yet. I'll try it when I head to work. I think I can just put it in park, switch it, reverse and park. Reset to 1. Turn off car.

Yeah jap spec cars have it good. Not so on the US version.
