drive a murcielago and THEN talk about blind spots. hell i think driving blindly is easier than the murci lol.
I usually have my mirrors set so that i just barely see the end of my car....and i always look over my shoulder...its become second nature

Even though you technically don't have to turn over because a car in an adjacent lane should always be in view from either one of your mirrors or from looking to your left/right, I'd still worry about small cars or especially motorcycles. One time I was on the freeway and I thought there was nothing to my left, but when I turned my shoulder I saw a motorcycle. However, I later noticed my mirrors weren't adjusted as well as they should've been, but still, better safe than sorry.

Thanks for the article! I have been using an antiquated method and have always adjusted until my car was just outside of being visible! In a parking lot right now waiting for the wife and just set my mirrors according to the SAE article. Wish me luck boys!
