Well I'm leasing so if the fuel pump fails in the next 3 years or 50k miles (which it won't no matter how low you run the tank), I'll just get it fixed under warranty....

that logic seems so backwards...you know it's horrible for the car, but because you don't think it will break down in the time that you're responsible for it you don't care?

Way to pay it forward.

Someone else is going to depend on this car after you turn it in...why let them have a crappy Infiniti experience if you can help out? And I'm not specifically talking about running the tank low, I'm just talking about the attitude behind your statement about the lease. I'd hate to know what else you end up neglecting too.
