i think i have a lemon.
I think you are absolutely right. Keep all the receipts or repair orders and everything you have on paper for you are going to need them. Do you have the warranty book, the repair manual?

Any update on this?

Stop dealing with the dealership and giving in, they're taking full advantage of you. Contact corporate. Build case for lemon. Possibly hire a lawyer if you don't want to deal with it yourself.

There is no stipulation that I know of that says a dealer can void your warranty if you don't get a freakin radiator flush. I would run as far away from that ****ty dealer as I could (but not before informing Infiniti Corporate about their shady "business practices". You need a new dealer...

thanks for your support everyone! its been a couple of weeks, and i did speak to a lawyer and they contacted nissan corporate and they decided to settle outside of court.

i owed $15,500 on my 08 G37, and they replaced the vehicle with a 2009 G37 convertible, loaded (except spoiler). they paid off the entire difference in price, which leaves me at a balance of 0$. when it came down to it, there wer a LOT of safety issues (cruise control would accelerate automatically and not stop until you hit the brake a more). its the same color, red/graphite. which i would've preferred a different color since ive been driving a red one for the last 2 1/2 years, but I definately can't complain. they also gave me a 7 year 100,000 mile warranty on this new one, and FREE maintenence (oil changes and everything) for 100,000 miles. the warranty even covers cracks in the leather seats and such. I most definately feel like Infiniti has taken care of me, and am very fortunate.

but, to make things better, because of the bull**** that my dealership put me through, and the money of which I could've "sued" (if thats the best word to use) , the dealership gave me a $30,000 incentive. I bought an 09 Mercedes ML350 with 13k miles, and traded in my older nissan armada, and with 0% interest I owed $20,000. so this definately worked out very well for me. It snows A LOT where I live and I have to have something ot drive in the winter, and the mercedes is a LOT nicer than the 2004 armada with basic package I was driving.

I hope noone has to go through what I went through, unless it turns out for the best. but it was a pain in the *** that I've had to deal with for 2 years now. It was problem after problem after problem. The lawyer showed me a stats sheet on the vehicle, and in 2 years, my car had spent 43 days in the shop. and with the dealership saying "there was nothing wrong with it", why did they keep it so long? well, we found out that they were lieing, and there were lots of other problems that I didnt' know about - safety issues. not only that, but the idiots at the dealership had been going for joy rides in my car because there was a LOT of unnoted mileage.

Thats a great ending to your story. I went thru the same **** with Nissan with the tire feathering and 4 transmissions. I failed to hire a lawyer and went ot arbitration. All they gave me was 2 new front tires and a $1000 in Nissan credit for my trouble. I was going to suggest getting the local news involved, but it looks like you made the right decision!

I'm starting to doubt this one. At best, a dealer would buy you out of your current car. You're saying they went ahead and put you in a loaded convertible, gave you a 100k warranty, and then threw in $30k towards another car?

And this all happened in a couple of weeks, right? With no mediation?

I call BS.

I think he said Inifiniti got him the loaded convertible with the warranty. Then, the dealer gave him 30K.

I suspect the dealer did that because they didn't want to get sued for their bad practice on taking people's money by threatening to void warranty if they didn't do this and that.
