I tried this ONE time during the winter. I was messing around for all of 60 seconds when a cop pulled up out of nowhere and gave me a "Careless Driving" ticket.

Haven't messed around since, as I'm still looking for a more secluded parking lot...

I drifted pretty much the whole winter, dry and wet. Car has 4000 miles and the rear tires are almost shot, fronts are getting bad too. One time I came out of 7/11 at night, after putting in a few performance mods I went out so sideways it scared the **** out of me lol. The steering wheel was spinning too fast for me to grab it. So I ended up just hitting the brakes.

You can read about over-steer control all you want, but there's nothing like practice! It's all about feel and desensitizing fear.

hahaha so you know how to control a car, huh... Dont worry, when i was 17 i thought i knew how to control my car.

I thought i knew how to control a car so well (when i was 17) i thought it would be a good idea to take this sharp turn, on my own street, at 60 mph. I said to myself "i know how to drive"...

But all that happened is i totaled the car, and it finally came to a stop parked perfectly in front of my house. In the end, i popped all tires, bent the chassis, broke two of the alloy wheels into little pieces, snapped both axles in half... all from hitting a granite curb while sliding sideways... and had to explain to the police why i had a crashed up car parked perfectly in front of my house which was not easy.

and it was a loaner from ford since my car was in the shop. O god, this story brings back memories...

I had yelled at the ford guys the day before because they didnt fix my car, i brought it in because my transmission was fu*ked up, and they fixed my seat warmer, and then i brought their loaner car back to them on a flatbed, i felt like an as*hole.

anyway, dont mean to go off topic, but when your older and grow some more facial hair, you will understand.

To the OP, thats mad funny, im lucky enough to have had some practice in some crap car (excluding the ford fusion loaner car i totaled)

practice in a wide open parking lot, RWD can be a lot of fun, but expensive because you will go through tires like crazy!

He's been quiet since that post. I wonder if his mom took away his Internet privileges for denting up her Lexus?
