Car in shop 6 weeks and counting - Remedy?

They should be able to Upgrade the order to customer care and get it a lot sooner.... do you have a part number?

My G is on day 2 'waiting for parts' -- 28 more days, fingers crossed!!

regarding rushing the part, i guess it's too late for that. i've been in touch with customer affairs and they said the part should be in the US 3/19...then has to be shipped to the dealership. per my service consultant, the part was escalated to "customer care" status yet it's still taken forever. who knows...

a woman from the consumer affairs complaints line has been helping me. she took down the dealer's address, etc. and has called me every few days. i asked her to read back to me my complaint, just so we are on the same page, and she said "car in shop about two months, part on it's way, customer requests two months reimbursement". she said she can't give me a yes or no regarding reimbursement until the car is completely fixed.

i'll be satisfied with two month's car payment as reimbursement. she's calling me again tomorrow, will see what she has to say.
