4-wheel Active Steer

4-wheel Active Steer
I was "building" coupe on both US and Canadian websites, and noticed the 4-wheel Active Steer is an option only for the Canadian model for $1,500 or $1,800.
Oh, Coupe 6MT G37S model.
Is this standard on US G37S?

when i bought my infiniti, even the sales guy told me out of all the g37's they've ever sold at that dealership....they've only sold 2 active steering models....there's only 9 running around in entire city....
my opinion? it's not worth it...and the more moving parts on ur car, the more problems u'll most likely run into....

I've owned both, with and w/o on the 09 model coupe. To me it's not enough of a difference for the money and more crap to break once you're out of warranty. I say skip.

if an M3 owner drives my car and takes a hard corner and sais wow you can feel the 4-wheel active steer, then I think it had served its purpose. Ive had it on my 07 G-coupe and now my current coupe..love it..I hate the tech package though..
ive driven g35s and g37s without it and I can definetly tell a difference..

+1...At first I thought it was a gimmick on paper just to skim the extra money off of us (well in a sense all options could fall under this category to some extent lol) but honestly I drove with and without prior to my first purchase and I think it really adds some agility to cornering and sharp maneuvers. Granted, not a huge difference, but for handling buffs it's a nice tweak. Handling is after all our 1-up against most of our American brethren coupes right? (eg Camaro, Mustang, Challenger, etc.)

Again every review ever mentioning active steering or 4 wheel steering is a dislike and strange feel. I think many will just justify their purchase, which is fine, with it adds something performance. I am almost certainthe last review of a g37 had it slower through a slalom. And there is probably a reason why cars aren't sent to any media outlets with that option
