battery problems

It's getting worst and worst. Found out my 2008 has known problems so I'm hoping the dealer wont give me any problems when I bring it in.
Anything proper I should say?

They need to replace your battery. Mine kept dying In under ten minutes of use (HID, LCD). They replaced mine and the problem is solved. You should be persistant and ask for a new battery.

one thing I found out that dealers hate is when you mention the forums. Just state your problem but dont say "and I know many others on infiniti forums are having this issue". saying that only turns the situation against you

There is a tsb out for it. There is a part that is drawing more than it's supposed to from the batt. They replace it and upgrade your battery to the one from the M that has a higher CCA. Had it done and haven't had an issue since.

Did the perform the actual TSB for the dead batt. or just replace it? If not then it's just gonna happen again. It's only a matter of time.

Right, he said it came up negative, that it was just a dead battery. that this battery should be good for about 6 years lol. this I gotta see.

Ha, Ive been having battery issues for over a year now, its so bad that went and bought a jumpstart kit. My problem is that if the car is not started and run for 2 days the battery will die. I only noticed it after about a year and half of owning the car, cuz till then I never had time when I didnt drive the car atleast once a day. Ive been travelling for work more lately so I need to leave my car alone for days at a time. Last year I took the car in and they said the battery was bad so it was replaced. I thought the probem was fixed cuz the week after that I left it alone for 3 days and it started up, but last month when i left the car standing for a few days it died again. This time the dealership said there was a TSB out and they replaced the BCM and reporgrammed the ECM. This was on a Wednesday, I left my car at the airport on Friday and exactly 48 hours later the battery was dead again. Thankfully I had my kit and jumpstarted it. Drove it around for a day or two no problems. went out of town for 5 days after that. In my absence I was having the car started and kept running for about an hour each day but by the third day it was dead again. So I have another appt on Monday. I think they just decided teh TSB would cover the problem and didnt do a parasitic drain test on the battery like they should have. The only thing that got fixed from all this trouble was my RPM surging during braking issue, the car is a lot smoother to drive, when it does start that is.
