hey guys

I seen a few guys on here with a BLACK ROOF on their G37s - how is this done? it looks sick and would like to do this on my white G.

 

Some have had it painted, but it is often just an overlay. Do a search for roof overlay and you'll find some more info.

Can't go wrong with paint, vinyl looks cheap IMO

 

+1 - Painting will look much better...

 

Vinyl is better for 2 reasons:

1) Cheaper
2) Can always be removed.

Vinyl is actually more expensive. The material alone will run you 80-100 dollars. The average vinyl shop will charge about 150 to install. That is about 250 dollars.

I had my roof painted for 200 and it looks much better.

 

If you're absolutely positive you'll be keeping the car for a very long time, then I MIGHT be open to paint. Otherwise, get vinyl! A good vinyl job still looks good and you can always remove it in the event you sell your car. Remember, once you paint, say goodbye to your factory paint forever.

 

Ive got Vinyl on mine but I got it done pretty cheap becasue Im friends with a guy that does it. Im gonna end up getting mine painted because I want a nice shinny finish.

 

Get carbon fiber printed vinyl.

Did you guys use Gloss black on the roof? Or BO infiniti paint? Im wondering how that looks when you see the Pearl in the white and not in the black..? Any input?
