Sorry to hear bro.
I know this will not help you make feel better but your car just depreciated by $thousands. Dude, try to contact your insurance company and check if you can get depreciated damaged.
Also if I were you, don't park your car there anymore.

Talked to insurance agent and I don't have to pay deductible but will have to file with bus drivers employer to reclaim extra expense for car rental over the 30 dollars a day. (paying ten bucks more a day for a Mercedes C300) and any other claims such as depreciated damage.
good advice

Not sure why you're dealing with your insurance company instead of the School's. Maybe it's a Cali thing??? But it seems like the shhool's ins co should provide you with a decent rental.

Last time I was hit, my insurance co. here in So. Cal, pushed hard to handel the claim. I'd love to know why. I am now dealing with the at fault parties to recover my "loss of use" / rental expences, as my insurer would cover only under collision / uninsured driver.
In California, demished value claims are most always via third party, your personal policy will not cover that part of the claim. -YMMV, I'm not an expert.

In MD you don't involve your agent at all (unless it was your fault), everything is handled by the person at fault insurance company. Been down that road twice (not with the G).

I know one person that got the rate for a rental G from Enterprise Renta Car and it was about $100.00 a day... it is also a very "comparable" car, and was paid "Loss of Use" on that basis. Although some insurance companies will BS you into a '68 Pinto, that's not what they hit and it's not your ride. California insurance codes are online.
I *lived* in the '60's, I could be having a flashback, check with a lawyer, your mileage may vary...
