The Most Random Thing Happened Last Night

I was driving home down the 405 last night and something (not another car or a motorcycle... or a puppy thrown out the window) hit my driver side rear view mirror. Thankfully, the whole thing didn't come off. I got off the freeway and when I stopped at the light, the plastic housing that covers the mirror dropped on the pavement.

Where should I go to get this fixed and has anyone seen the part I'm talking about on sale? I'll take pics and share them.

Should I just call Lou?

Thanks for the help.

You could just get the new carbon fiber caps from LE.

Ick, sorry to hear that. Closest I've had to a random thing hitting my car was a bra (as in a woman's undergarment) hitting the windshield of my car.

Yes, a bra. No, I have no idea where it came from.

Cup size was 34 B if I remember right, this was 15 or so years ago.

And no, I didn't keep it. :P

LOL!

Thankfully just the cover came off, not the whole thing. The mirror seems secure still.

My dad and I almost got hit by a piece of dry wall falling off a truck about 20 years ago. It was a total matrix moment and the drywall bounced over our car in slow motion and pegged the guy behind us.
