Did you guys have to change your wiring, I just bought a red top and the wires aren't long enough to reach the posts?

Just a warning about Red Tops, a few months ago my Red Top dies on me in my other car after 2 months. And I mean DIED. I returned it and exchanged for a Yellow Top and the guy told me a lot of people were having issues with their Red Tops.

After a little digging, Optima had moved the manufacturing of the Red Tops from Mexico to China, or vice-versa, I don't remember and people starting having problems. Caveat emptor.

Had my Red Top for almost 6 months now ...not a lick of trouble. My wires were plenty long enough, did you get the model with the pos & neg terminals on the correct side? It was a pain to install, had to undo a lot of the shrouding around the battery area to get the old one out.
