It will be a hack a lot more than $2500 to repair that car...

If it really was $2500, then the insurance company would probably never have decided to total the car.

Up to your decision, but seriously, IMO, DO NOT DO IT.

No, it is our decision! And we (the G37 community) have decided that you should not get the car. Trust us, after all, we all drive one. If you do get one, we will revoke your membership status and your G37 driver card.

The community as spoken.

Also, in order of importance: College > G37

If you want to buy a car now I say go for a G35, otherwise wait till you can afford a new one.

Example, the weather strip for the front fender is $60 bucks (just for a 6 feet piece of rubber). The pinstripes $30. The radiator cover is $60. Painting the parts is also very expensive. Your cost is going to skyrocket. Just not worth it.
lmao, yes i do see that most g37 members are saying not to get it, and now im scared and am backing out of getting it. However, i did talk to the guy just today and confronted him about the price and we kept talking for an hour or so, and said that if doesnt sell, we can then talk about it, he was like the lowest he can go is $12000, i told him i know alot of people with g37's (referring to you guys) and they said its too expensive. Lets say i find the parts cheap, like ive been looking on ebay and found numerous oem parts, found a hood for $400 with shipping, headlight for $250 with shipping, front bumper for $180-220, i can sell the avarus wheels and use that money to get the other parts. if it goes for $12k , should i get it?

Here's the deal Bro..you're still in college and the MOST important thing you can do right now is focus on your studies...I know this is not the answer you want to hear, but like YOU said college is hecktic enough!! I mean seriously Bro!! Get yourself a BEAUTIFUL poster of a HOT G37S and a WICKED HOT CHIC and hang them on your wall...use this as motivation to remind yourself of the things that you are going to have later in life when you score that AWESOME job with your kicka$$ education!! Imagine making $100,000-$200,000/year with your mind when you graduate and buy yourself a Ferrari or something!! All you need when you're in college is a crap-box car with a crappy paintjob to get yourself around...save your coins now for necessities like FOOD (pizza)and having fun with your friends!!
It's not like you're an experienced body shop dude who has all the tools and knowlege to fix this SALVAGE POS G37S!
I could go on and on!!
Please don't BUY IT even if it was only $5000, you have so much OTHER stuff going for you!!
Peace out Bro!!
Happy Thanksgiving!!

It would be worth it ONLY if it had a clean title, other wise, you'd need most of that chassis cut and replaced, it's not worth it. For 10K maybe... but you'd be looking at at least $5-6K in repairs, minimum.

Salvage title cars take a big hit in the resale value. Save your money for something that has a clean title and is in excellent condition. This car looks like a money pit and allot of headaches. I had a leather seat bottom replaced under warranty and when I picked it up I asked the service writer how much this part cost and he said about $1,700.00 with out labor. Now I drive my car with my wallet on the center console. Nissan parts are very expensive.

guess ill just fulfill my dream by driving the simulation infiniti on the top of the page (the ad) its the closest i can get to owning one , lol

But honestly, thanks so much to all of you who contributed to my dumb decision in buying, i was actually ready to buy it for $12500 , and i was thinking it would only cost $5k to fix, its a good thing i found this site and that you saved me from buying a piece of junk, guess ill now have to search on ebay for the right g35, any suggestions on what i should get (hope you can help, dont want to go to the g35 site, i like this site better) . like what year should i get, trim, options, color is white for sure, but yea, any tips and thoughts would be appreciated. Once again, thanks to all of you !
