I found the instructions on the install, and they do say 08. But I read many places that 08 is not supported. I'm gonna be the guinea pig and try the install on my 08. I'll let you guys know if I'm successful for any other 08 owners who want this.

Where did you read this from? 08's are definitely supported because the actual part included instructions for the 08...so don't worry about that.

The actual part was 70 bucks from my dealer. If you don't want to do it yourself, then you're looking at about 250+ (that's what I was quoted). Just install it yourself...trust me it's easy.

It came in today. Install was successful ladys and gentlemen . Here is what I did.

M121- tap into the red wire in cavity 50 to the brown wire on the sensor.

M119 - this plug is not located where it shows in the instructions. It's actually located a little lower, follow the plug that is where the M119 is supposed to be, and you'll see it connected to an adapter plug that plugs into the location shown by the instructions. The pins are the same, its a red wire in cavity 11.

M123 - tap into the with wire shown in the instructions. I'm not sure it is exactly in cavity 123 but its very close if not. either way tap the white wire there.

Mine came preset to 2 as the sensitivity. I have it set to about 3.5 and it triggers if I hit the body decently hard, and if I kick the wheels (no hammering of sockets possible with out triggering "I hope...").

Need some help guys. Trying to install this impact sensor (Sewell's part number 999M2VU003) in my new 2011 Coupe, has anyone else been successful? Has anyone seen instructions for 2011 coupe? The instructions that came with the kit are dated 2008 and I've pulled the 3/24/10 instructions up off the net and the colors don't jive with mine on either. I hate to just start connecting in to the location vs nowing for sure. Here is what I have:
M121: cavity 50 is orange, 2010 instructions think green.
M119: agree with Ricbel on the instructions they are wrong. actually the 2008 and 2010 instructions are not the same and both are wrong. the 2008 points to the wire bundle for the plug on the very top right. so on mine, following down from the alledged M119 location you find something that looks like the pic in both instructions. the red wire appears to be in 11 but of course none of the other wires called out in either instructions match.
M123: the 2010 instructions say 124 = lt. green 123 is white and 121 is green....and to tap into the white. My car: 124 = red 123 = purple 121 is light blue.

Appreciate any feedback/thoughts on next steps.
