Because National Infiniti pays for the warranty work and the dealerships don't care LOL. Some dealerships are cool in that aspect. I've seen dealerships replace a whole transmission, flywheel and clutch for just the clutch going out. I'm always down for new equipment being installed for free!

Let us know how it goes Jatt. I also use Infiniti of Elk Grove for my sevices and my transmission sounds very similar to how yours sound in neutral. With the clutch engage, the sound goes away.

i complain about the noise everytime I take my car in, they tell me its normal. Had trans replaced b/c of grinding 5th and 6th gears, sound is still there. These transmissions suck!

Alright guys the car is back and sounding a lot better and quiet. here is the list of work performed. if you guys want me to scan in the workorder i will

Flushed the clutch fluid.
Flushed transmission oil and filled (they stated the transmission oil was low)
the break line was loose, so they tightened that

Now the car shifts smooth and sounds good. Whewwww now back to modding

Yeah! There is really no way they could have caused that noise just by changing the slave, unless they beat the chit out of your car afterwards. I'd say it's just a coincidence.

well they drove it a total of 3 miles, but you could be right. they told be the salve is located between the engine and above the tranny. so, they had to tak off the exhaust system and slide/move the tranny in order to access it. but i will take a video again and my car as now does not have same noise that i have on posted or Drjones has posted.

Hmmm! If that's the case and they had to actually separate the engine and transmission to get to it, then it is possible they could have caused it, which might explain the low trans fluid level.
